Spring Term 2015

Learning about each others families Learning to serve ourselves Walks in the wild gardens
with our friends

During Autumn Term we had a lovely time.
First we got to know each other and learnt about our families. We learnt about the plants. We searched for circle shapes in the wild gardens. We had a splashing time in the puddles and had fun in the grounds - do you think we have shrunk? We planted bulbs ready for the spring time. We learnt about winter animals and hibernation and we wore out PJ’s to nursery. Miss Rebecca introduced us to some new yoga moves.
We finished off the term with a visit from Santa.

Bumble Bee week.... Six little bumble bees buzzing around in the hats they made.

We had a lovely sunny sports day.

We did hopping and skipping and very fast running!!

During our under the sea topic, we caught fish and then counted them.

Our little ones enjoying the Spring sunshine out and about in the grounds......

After going for a spider hunt in the wild gardens and the nursery gardens, the children made their own spider webs in the classroom - somewhere for their friendly classroom spider they had made to live!!

The babies made the most of the spring sunshine with a picnic in the grounds.

The children enjoyed a penguin waddle around the wild gardens wearing their Emperor Penguin crowns.

We had a wonderful Red Chinese Dragon in the garden to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
I think I recognise some of those wellies!!

During our winter birds topic, we made bird feeders which were just in time for the snowy weather.

The children went to measure the snow drops.

Everyone enjoyed the nature walks on
Challenging Tuesdays in the snow.

We all celebrated Miss Sheena being a member of the team for 20 years and Miss Lynda being a member of the team for 10 years.

Everyone enjoyed dressing as their favourite character for our favourite book topic. Mrs Garland read every class the story of Little Red Riding Hood dressed up as the "good" wolf.

Pudsey day was celebrated by the children all wearing PJ's, having their faces painted and making spotted fairy cakes and cookies.

We were delighted to be mentioned in the Montessori International for our outstanding Ofsted.
